GLP Weight Loss is Great, But Here Are Other Ways to Lose Weight Without Exercising.

Semaglutide Weight Loss Woodlands TXLosing weight is challenging but achievable. It requires three D’s: determination, discipline, and dedication. Without these, a person could find it more challenging to get results.

Other than proper mentality, there are fundamental ways to lose weight. These activities and practices could guarantee the success of one’s weight loss journey.

Doctors and experts recommend physical activity and dieting, but not everyone is in the condition to exercise. But without exercising, is it still possible to reduce weight? According to experts and studies, it is. There are many proven ways to lose weight without forcing yourself to exercise.

Read on to find out how GLP weight loss and other things can help one achieve the body they’re aiming for.

Although weight loss can be challenging, GLP-1 weight loss is an FDA-approved drug included in a medical weight loss program that may be the key to achieving long-term weight loss for overweight and obese patients suffering from weight-related medical problems.

Why weight loss matters

There are plenty of reasons why people lose weight. While some intend to achieve slimmer bodies or maintain the ones they already have, some individuals suffer from obesity.

Obesity is not as simple as being fat; it is a type of chronic illness where a person has developed excessive body fat. This condition could lead to even more health complications like type 2 diabetes, fatty liver disease, kidney disease, and cardiovascular diseases.

Obesity has three types that are classified by a person’s Body Mass Index (BMI). As you can see, being obese is a highly complex situation. It comprises one’s quality of life. The only way to overcome it is by losing weight and engaging in a much healthier lifestyle.

GLP-1 Weight Loss: How to lose weight without exercising

It is possible to achieve weight loss without engaging in physical fitness. It may not be the best approach to getting fast results, but it’s a relief for those unable to exercise. Here are examples of people who cannot be physically active:

  • Those who have injuries that prohibit or limit exercise
  • Those who are getting ready for surgery but need to lose weight (e.g., knee surgery)
  • Those with diabetes or low blood sugar
  • Those with arthritis or other painful conditions

Exercise does burn calories immediately, but it’s not the only option to reduce weight. There are many other ways to make that happen, although it will take longer. On the bright side, experts say that losing weight slowly is more ideal than doing it quickly because it can help you keep the weight off easier.

Since physical fitness is out of the list, here are the other things you can do to achieve weight loss:

  • Monitor what you eat

Keeping track of what and when you eat is essential for losing weight. You must be aware of what you put inside your mouth (and stomach) because it helps maintain your accountability.

You can write down your food and drink intake on a notebook or device such as a mobile phone or a tablet. Many apps also help with food tracking, making it more convenient for you. If you are a photo freak, you could resort to taking pictures of your meals every day.

  • Drink more water

Hydrate, hydrate, and yes—hydrate. Drinking more water fills you up more. It helps you quench your thirst and save yourself from an empty stomach at the same time.

Get used to bringing a water bottle or tumbler with you, or set a schedule for drinking water to make it seem more like a routine. Water is also an ideal replacement for sugary beverages like soda, which could add 250 to 500 calories to your diet per day.

  • Avoid skipping meals

Contrary to popular belief, starving oneself isn’t an excellent way to lose weight. Skipping meals or going for longer periods without food can make you overeat. If you are too hungry, you will only eat more later on. Doing this can also lead to muscle breakdown.

  • Get the proper amount of sleep

One must sleep at least seven to eight hours every night. Getting the right amount of sleep helps regulate hormones associated with hunger. Your body tends to tell you it’s hungry when deprived of bed rest.

Furthermore, sleep deprivation can increase your cortisol levels, the hormone that causes your body to hold onto fat.

  • Indulge in more protein

As a part of maintaining a healthy diet, make sure to add more healthy fats and protein to it. Protein-rich foods are great for losing weight because they can fill up and fuel the body.

The federally recommended amount of protein intake is around 10% to 35% of one’s overall daily calories, but some experts encourage increasing that under given circumstances. Ideally, it would be best to consult with a nutritionist or dietitian.

Is GLP-1 Weight Loss Genuinely Effective?

Semaglutide Weight Loss Woodlands TXOther than the ones mentioned on the list, weight loss medicines are becoming more and more popular for being effective in losing weight.

Many medical weight loss programs incorporate this; one good example is GLP-1 injections. GLP-1 weight loss is an FDA-approved medication dedicated to helping obese and overweight patients lose weight.

It is part of a medical weight loss program where reduced calorie intake and increased physical activity are also implemented. Clinical studies have shown that adults taking GLP-1 for weight loss for 68 weeks have reduced up to 15% of body weight.

If you want to try GLP-1 for weight loss, consult an expert first. You can book a consultation with Woodlands Wellness & Cosmetic Center and try out their medical weight loss program. Contact them at 281-362-0014 or visit them at 2829 Technology Forest Blvd Suite 140, The Woodlands, TX 77381.
